How to Get Here

Lynch Wood is a belt of woodland, alongside the River Nene, linking the village of Alwalton to Ferry Meadows Country Park. Direct access to view Lynchwood Seat has to be by cycle or on foot, it being sited on a footpath through the wood. The best and easiest approach is from Ferry Meadows which is accessible by car or bus .

By Car:

Follow the A605 from the A1 or the city centre. It is well sign posted off this road.

By Bus:

A bus service from the bus station goes to the entrance to Ferry Meadows by the Notcutts Garden Centre.

On Bicycle and on Foot:

Ferry Meadows is at the centre of a network of footpaths and cycleways that extend throughout all of Nene Park. Details can be obtained from Nene Park Trust and the Tourist information Centre tel. 01733 452336.
